              Korean BBQ refers to the Korean method of grilling beef, pork, chicken, or other types of meat.  Such dishes are prepared at the diner’s table on gas grills that are built into the center of the table itself.  This is an experience most diners learn to enjoy. 

           Banchan refers to small dishes of food served along with your order, meant to be enjoyed with the meal during your course of dining, in Korean cuisine. Banchan are served in small portions for each group meant to be finished at each meal.  Kimchi is the most popular banchan in Korean cuisine and kimchi is fermented vegetables, usually baechu (Napa cabbage), seasoned with chilli pepper and salt.
